COBOURG NISSAN KODIAKS IN FIRST PLACE!

The Cobourg Nissan Kodiaks are in first place after a fast paced, hard hitting game against the Peterborough Lakers.  Goaltender Kevin Orleman was once again solid in net in his fifth start of the season. The Kodiaks are 4 - 1 in what has been their best start in franchise history.

 Trading goals, the first period ended with a 3 - 3 score. Kyle Killen, Dan Lomas and Cam Milligan each scored in the period for the Kodiaks.

The Lakers scored 6 times in the second period, the Kodiaks managed 4 goals from Mike Triolo, Killen, Colton Armstrong and Scott Dominey. Score at the end of the period was 9 - 7 in favor of the Lakers.

The Kodiaks made a strong comeback in the third, scoring 5 times, holding the Lakers to only 2 in the period. Steph Charbonneau, Milligan, Lomas each scored one while Dominey scored two in the period.
