Cobourg Nissan Kodiaks suffer first loss of the season

Cobourg Nissan Kodiaks suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday June 9th when they were defeated 13-8 by the Six Nations Chiefs Sunday night in Major Series Lacrosse action in front of over 500 fans. The loss is Cobourg's first of the 2019 campaign and brings their record to three wins and one loss. The Kodiaks had only 14 runners for the game due to various personal and work commitments. With such a short bench, the Kodiaks were unable to get their running transition game going. Mark Vradenburg led the way offensively for Cobourg with 2 goals and 2 assists. Ben French and Cam Milligan each finished the game with one goal and one assist each.

Randy Staats, Cody Jamieson and Lyle Thompson controlled the offence for Six Nations who improved to 3-1 on the season. 

Cobourg's next home game is Sunday June 16th at the Cobourg Community Centre at 6:00 p.m. against the Oakville Rock.
