Cook and Knight net hat tricks as BLC dominate Excelsiors

Tanner Cook and Curtis Knight led the way with three goals each, while Connor Kearnan had a seven-point night to power Brooklin Lacrosse Club to a 13-3 win over the Brampton Excelsiors Wednesday during Major Series Lacrosse action.

BLC came out strong in the first period, establishing dominance early on. Luke Keenan, Curtis Knight, and Brock Haley gave the home side an early three-goal lead, before Holden Patterson responded.

BLC quickly replied thanks to Luke Keenan, with Jeremy Searle scoring late in the frame to inch the Excelsiors to within a pair.

The second period saw BLC extend the lead with a power-play goal by  Cook. Jack Travassos added another, while Knight and Connor Kearnan rounded out the scoring.

Cook and Graydon Hogg added two goals in the third period, with Knight adding one. JP Ward had the lone Excelsiors response.
