Hoggarth nets four to lead Lakers to comeback win over BLC

Brooklin Lacrosse Club may have scored the first four goals of its game in Peterborough on Thursday, but the Peterborough Lakers came back in a big way, scoring 10 unanswered goals en route to a 12-7 in Major Lacrosse Series action.
Brooklin failed to score another goal after taking a 7-2 lead in the sixth minute of the second period in the match staged at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
It was the second straight night the Brooklin club had its opponent rally from a deficit to register a win.
Thomas Hoggarth led the way for the Lakers with four goals and two assists, while Holden Cattoni, Kiel Matisz and Taite Cattoni each added a pair of goals. Austin Hasen and Thomas Whitty netted singles.
Sean Westley and Dyson Williams scored two goals each for Brooklin on Wednesday. Jeff Wittig, Jacob Sanders and Luke Pilcher provided the other Brooklin goals.

NOTES: Landon Kells was outstanding between the Lakers pipes, recording 44 saves to get the win. Nick Damude made 41 saves for BLC. The Lakers (3-1), host the Six Nations Chiefs (3-0) Thursday at the PMC. BLC (1-3) travel to Six Nations Tuesday to take on the Chiefs. Both games are at 8pm.
