The Cobourg Kodiaks have fired coach Jim Milligan.
"Effective immediately, Jim Milligan has been relieved of his head coaching role," Kodiaks general manager John Webb said. "The Kodiaks would like to thank Jim for his time and effort and wish him best of luck in the future.
"Although this is not a good time for a coaching change, we as an organization felt that this change was necessary for our growth and future success," Webb said. "The Kodiaks will begin the search for a new coach immediately. I will take more of an active role on the bench until then, and assistant defensive coach Mark Crough will stay with the club."
The Kodiaks, now 1-9, host the Brooklin Lacrosse Club on Sunday at home at 6pm.
