Kodiaks strike up a win over Chiefs in Game 3

Lyle Thompson got the Chiefs on the board first when he converted a Randy Staats feed at 2:56, but Curtis Romanchych tied the game in transition finishing an Ethan Riggs pass at 8:55.

Riley Curtis gave Brooklin the lead by converting an Austin Murphy pass at 10:37, followed by Carson Moyer stretching the lead to 3-1 for Cobourg.

The Chiefs finished the period strong scoring three times in the final four minutes.  Eric Fannell brought Six Nations within one goal scoring off a Shayne Jackson pass at 16:26, followed by Randy Staats converting a  Fannell feed 0:25 seconds later to tie the game.  Lyle Thompson gave the Chiefs the lead finishing off a Cody Jamieson pass at 18:54.

Aaron Woods tied the game when he scored unassisted at 6:03, but Tim Edwards answered for the Chiefs in transition off a long lead pass from Warren Hill at 9:35.  Austin Murphy again tied the game with a blast off an Aaron Woods pass at 10:19, but the Chiefs took the lead when Randy Staats converted a Lyle Thompson pass at 11:13. 

Cobourg finished the second period strong, scoring three times themselves to take the lead going to intermission.  Riley Curtis scored his second of the game off a Tanner Buck feed at 12:59, followed by Aaron Woods converting an Austin Murphy pass at 16:07.  Tanner Buck would increase the Kodiaks lead to two with a blast off a Carson Moyer feed at 16:54.

Lyle Thompson opened up the third period scoring converting an Eric Fannell pass at 1:34, but Rowan Kelly answered for the Kodiaks off an Owen Down feed at 7:20 restoring the two-goal lead.  Austin Staats scored with just 0:26 seconds left for the Chiefs, but it was too little too late.
