Lakers - Charity Auction of game-worn 2017 Mann Cup jerseys

The 2017 Mann Cup winning Peterboro Lakers of  Major Series Lacrosse have announced an online charity auction of their game-worn 2017 Mann Cup blue jerseys. All proceeds will go to Kawartha Food Share, Five Counties Children's Centre and the Kawartha Komets special needs hockey team.

Lakers' Chairman of the Board, Bill Joiner noted, "When we won the Mann Cup, we knew we wanted to give back to the exceptionally supportive community of Peterborough.  Auctioning off Mann Cup jerseys is a great way to accomplish this and we are pleased to be doing so."

Also available in the auction is the final game jersey worn by  No. 24 - John Grant Jr.  Grant's  No. 24 was retired by the Lakers in 2016.  The proceeds for this part of the auction will go to the Peterborough Petes Pink in the Rink fundraiser.

Please note the auction began on February 21 at 12:01 a.m. and runs until April 1 at 11:59 p.m. The starting bid is $150 for each individual  jersey and the minimum bid increment is $5.
