BOXSCORE

Josh Currier and Holden Cattoni each scored a hat trick for the Lakers, while Landon Kells got the win in goal with 39 saves.

Peterborough and Brooklin meet again Thursday night at the Memorial Centre to close out the regular season before facing off against each other in the opening playoff round. The schedule for that series is in the process of being finalized.

The Lakers led 2-0 in the first minute of Wednesday’s game. Although Brooklin evened that score halfway through the period, Peterborough led 5-2 after the 20 minutes. They never relinquished the lead, doubling up Brooklin 6-3 in a high-scoring second period to lead 11-5.

Tickets for Thursday’s game, which is Little Lakers Night in partnership with Five Counties Children’s Centre, are on sale at the Memorial Centre box office. The game will feature face painting, a silent auction, and Little Lakers t-shirt sales!
