We have reached the last Canadian lacrosse championship of the summer — the Mann Cup is here.
At 8 p.m. ET Friday, the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse and the visiting Victoria Shamrocks of the Western Lacrosse Association will take the floor inside Iroquois Lacrosse Arena for Game 1 of the best-of-seven Mann Cup series.
It feels relieving to be this close to game-time, as there were moments over the last couple of days where it seemed their was a slim possibility that this Sr. A championship might not happen at all.
