Nissan Kodiaks off to best start in team history

The Cobourg Nissan Kodiaks have recorded three straight victories to begin the 2019 MSL season.  Their victories include an 8-4 win over Brampton in Cobourg’s home opener, followed up with back-to-back wins of 12-7 and 13-9 over the Brooklin Lacrosse Club.

Kyle Killen and Scott Dominey have both scored 7 goals in the Kodiaks’ first three games to lead the team in offence. Goaltender Kevin Orleman with an MSL leading 6.67 goals against average has been instrumental in Cobourg’s victories.

Every win for all teams in the MSL is vital to playoff hopes, particularly when the victories for Cobourg have been over teams such as Brooklin and Brampton – teams - the Kodiaks will need to beat out for a coveted playoff position.

Cobourg’s next game is Sunday, June 9th when they host the Six Nations Chiefs. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
