Luke Keenan, Tanner Cook and Austin Shanks led the way for Brooklin Lacrosse Club in a 16-11 win over the Owen Sound North Stars Wednesday night in Major Series Lacrosse action.

BLC set the pace early, with Kyle Waters finding the net first. Owen Sound quickly responded with a goal from Tyler Halls. BLC then surged ahead with goals from Sean Westley and  Shanks, closing the period with a strong lead.

The second period was marked by a flurry of goals. Shanks and Keenan Cook added to the lead. Brady Kearnan scored twice for BLC, while Tanner Buck and Brody Caskanette found the net for the North Stars. Despite short-handed goals from Jackson Reid and Jake McNabb, Tanner Cook struck back for BLC, keeping the pressure on the visitors.

Tanner Cook opened the final period with back-to-back power-play goals. Dylan Robinson and Shanks continued the scoring streak for BLC. Even though the North Stars didn't show any quit with short-handed goals from Jake Gasperetti, Jackson Webster, Jake McNabb, and Dante Kulas, BLCs relentless attack, capped by another goal from Dylan Robinson, ensured their victory. Caskenette's late goal for the North Stars was not enough to bridge the gap.
