SIX NATIONS CHIEFS DEFEAT COBOURG NISSAN KODIAKS 9-2

The Six Nations Chiefs scored 3 goals in each period on their way to a 9-2 defeat of the Cobourg Kodiaks. Randy Staats led the Chiefs - scoring twice while adding four assists.  Jordan Durstan and Riley Miller each netted two goals for Six Nations.

Despite having plenty of scoring opportunities, particularly in the second period, the Kodiaks were unable to capitalize on their many chances. Kyle Killen scored both Kodiak goals.

Kevin Orleman who was the first overall draft pick by the Cobourg Nissan Kodiaks in the 2018 MSL Entry Draft played his first ever game of Major Series Lacrosse and despite the loss, put in a fine performance.  Goaltender Doug Jamieson recorded the win for the Chiefs.
