Six Nations defeat Brampton 11-7

Led by the MSL’s #1 goal scorer (18 in total) Randy Staats netted 5 goals as the Six Nations Chiefs won their fourth straight game defeating the Brampton Excelsiors 11-7.  Cody Jamieson had 6 assists along with a single goal. The Chiefs came out flying building up a 5-1 lead by the end of the first period. 

Brampton battled back winning the second period 4-2 to close the gap to just a two-goal differential with the second frame ending 7-5 for Six Nations. 

Although Brampton did what they could to close the gap, the third period saw the Chiefs double Brampton 4-2 including scoring the last three goals of the game, for a final game score 11-7 for the Chiefs.

Chiefs goalie Doug Jamieson recorded an MSL league leading 6th win for a goalie.

The win gives the Chiefs a 7-2 record.  The loss has Brampton at 3 wins and 6 losses.
