Sulver nets pair to lead Chiefs over BLC

Dalton Sulver has felt right at home after recently joining the Six Nations Chiefs. And in his second game with the Chiefs, Sulver, from Kingswood, TX, scored two goals to pace his new team to a 9-8 win over the Brooklin Lacrosse Club Saturday in Whitby.
BLC started the night out with Dyson Williams scoring the first goal.
The Chiefs roared back with four goals from Jordan Durston, Sulver ,Cody Jamieson, and Charlie Scanlon.
BLC pushed back before the period was over withLuke Pilcher and Ryan Lanchbury scoring 16 seconds a part.  Austin Staats got one more for the Chiefs before the period was over.
The Chiefs opened the second period with a short-handed goal from Sam Leclair.  Chris Boushy answered back for BLC. They got within one goal when Ryan Barnable scored off a Jacob Saunders pass shorthanded.
The Chiefs finished the period with a flurry of shots. Joey Cupido scored in transition off a Nonkon Thompson pass, followed by Sulver’s second of the night thanks to a Cody Jamieson pass.
In the third period, the Chiefs opened the scoring with Brendan Bomberry. But  Lanchbury, Barnable and a pair from Mitch Wilde got BLC to within a goal, which is as close as the got.

NOTES:
Warren Hill got the win between the pipes for the Chiefs, while Nick Damude took the loss. The Chiefs improve to 7-1-1, which is good for first place with three games to go in the regular season. Tuesday the Chiefs host the Peterborough Lakers at 8pm. BLC drops to 3-4-1 and sit in third place. Wednesday they host the Cobourg Kodiaks at 8pm.
