Thede scores the winner giving BLC come-from-behind win over Rock

Dawson Thede scored his third goal of the game with two minutes to go in regulation time to give the Brooklin Lacrosse Club a 13-11 victory over the Oakville Rock Monday at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre.

Thede was one of the catalysts of a six-goal third period, scored twice during the comeback, while Luke Keenan, Connor Kearnan, Sean Westly and Austin Shanks added one goal each. Andrew Kew and Sam English replied for the Rock.

BLC started out strong with a pair of goals from Brady Kearnanearly in the first period. But the Rock rebounded back with goals from English, Tyler Hendrycks and Kew.

The two teams exchanged blows in the second period. Hendrycks led the Rock surge with three goals, while Ryan Lanchbury scored a pair and Cory Highfield netted one. Curtis Knight and Shanks each scored a pair for BLC, while Thede added one.

Zach Higgins stood tall in the BLC net stopping 45 shots. Nock Rose also faced a lot of rubber making 55 saves.
