Update on Ted Higgins and Parkinson Disease Superwalk: Half-way to the Goal


For lacrosse fans this is an exciting time of year as the Mann Cup series is just days away.  That being noted, it is also a time for the annual Parkinson Foundation fundraising campaign.  One of lacrosse’s most accomplished individuals and greatest ambassadors – Ted Higgins – continues to seek your help.

Ted Higgins is a Canadian lacrosse legend who has been inducted into numerous Sports Hall of Fame.  If you have had the privilege to meet and/or know Ted, you know what a fine person he is.  However, you may not be aware Ted lives with Parkinson disease.  With your donation, you can help Ted and countless others diagnosed with Parkinson disease.  Over 130,000 Canadians live with Parkinson disease.

This is the third year Ted Higgins has participated in the in the Parkinson’s Canada annual SuperWalk campaign. Ted has set a goal of $10,000 for 2022. He has currently passed the $5000.00 total, reaching the half-way point of his objective.

Over the past two years, your generous donations have put Ted’s fundraising over $48,000.00.
