Bomberry Nets Hat Trick To Lead Chiefs Over Rock

Davin Bomberry led the way with three goals, while Josh Byrne made his presence felt in his debut as the Six Nations Chiefs defeated the Oakville Rock 10-5 in Major Series Lacrosse action from the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.

 After Josh Dawick opened the scoring for the Rock 30 seconds into the game, Davin Bomberry, Shayne Jackson, Ryan Smith, and Dawson Theede responded with authority. Luke Robinson rounded out the scoring for the Rock late in the frame.

 Bomberry added two more goals in the second period, with Lyle Thompson, Byrne, and Cody Jamieson added to the lead. Carson Moyer and Ty English replied for the Rock.

Byrne netted his second goal of the game midway through the final period, before Dawick bookended the game's scoring adding his second of the game.

Warren Hill earned the win, while Landon Kells took the loss.
