The Oakville Rock (9-3) traveled east to face the Brooklin Lacrosse Club (7-7) in Major Series Lacrosse action Wednesday night at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby, Ontario.

The goaltending match-up had Evan Constantopolous in net for Oakville facing Aden Walsh in net for Brooklin.

Brooklin (BLC) weathered an early storm before completely flipping the script Wednesday night, rallying from a first-period deficit to earn an impressive 14-8 victory over Oakville at Iroquois Park Sports Centre. After the Rock raced out to a 5-4 lead behind two goals each from Carson Moyer and Jack MacAlpine, Brooklin found its rhythm late in the opening frame as Reilly O'Connor completed a natural hat trick to keep the home side within striking distance.  The turning point came in the second period, where the BLC seized control with four unanswered goals. Will Johansen sparked the surge with a coast-to-coast transition effort before Dylan Watson, Dyson Williams, and Connor Kearnan stretched the lead to 8-5, while Aden Walsh and the Brooklin defense shut the door at the other end.

Brooklin never looked back in the third, piling on three more goals to extend its run to nine consecutive tallies before Oakville finally answered. Matt Acchione, Dan Lintner, and Watson all found the back of the net as the BLC's balanced attack overwhelmed the Rock.  Alex Simmons and Isiah Moran-Weekes briefly cut into the deficit, but O'Connor's fourth goal of the night on the power play, followed by an empty-net marker from Nate Woods and a late transition goal from Cam Acchione, put the finishing touches on the victory. Brooklin dominated the final 40 minutes, outshooting Oakville 44-26 over the second and third periods to finish with a commanding 63-45 edge in shots.
