By Gary Groob
The Brooklin Lacrosse Club (6-6) traveled west to face the Owen Sound NorthStars (1-10) in Major Series Lacrosse action Saturday evening at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Arena in Owen Sound, Ontario.
The goaltending match-up had Aden Walsh in net for Brooklin facing Andrew Kidd in net for the NorthStars.
Brooklin (BLC) overcame a determined effort from Owen Sound, scoring three third-period goals to erase a one-goal deficit and earn a hard-fought 7-6 victory at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Arena. The NorthStars turned in one of their strongest performances of the year, fueled by two-goal efforts from Everest L. Holmme Wickens and Colton McKechnie, while also getting a memorable first Major Series Lacrosse goal from Dylan Lee.
