The Brampton Excelsiors (0-3) traveled east to face the Brooklin Lacrosse Club (2-2) in Major Series Lacrosse action Wednesday night at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby, Ontario.

The goaltending match-up had Connor O'Toole in net for the Excelsiors facing Aden Walsh in net for Brooklin.

The Brooklin Lacrosse Club (BLC) used a balanced offensive attack and a dominant second half to pull away from the Brampton Excelsiors for a convincing 12-5 victory. After a tightly contested opening period that saw the lead change hands several times, Brooklin carried a narrow 4-3 advantage into the first intermission. Connor Kearnan was at the center of the BLC attack early, setting up multiple goals, while Dan Lintner scored twice in the opening frame to help Brooklin stay ahead in a back-and-forth battle.

The game began to tilt in Brooklin's favor during the second period as Will MacLeod and Taggert Clark answered Brampton to gain a two-goal cushion heading into the third. From there, Brooklin took complete control, outscoring the Excelsiors 6-1 in the final frame. Lintner completed his hat trick, MacLeod added his second of the night, and Clark, Chris Boushy, Reilly O'Connor, and Landon Sinfield all found the scoresheet as Brooklin's offense overwhelmed Brampton. Kearnan finished with a standout playmaking performance, while Aden Walsh and the BLC defense shut the door over the final 20 minutes to secure the seven-goal win.
